SOLVING THE TRILEMMA
5ireChain strikes a perfect balance in solving the blockchain trilemma between security, scalability, and decentralisation.
Robust security is one of our top priorities. 5ireChain uses TPM chips on nodes to ensure that nodes are not running malicious code or activities. This allows us to keep 5ireChain’s network security in check and provide a secure infrastructure for builders and developers to build upon.
5ire’s Homomorphic Encryption allows users to keep their personal and financial information private on 5ireChain while enabling validating nodes to perform operations on the encrypted data. This allows us to provide the same services as available on permissioned blockchains over our public blockchains quantum computers that will exist in the future.

The disadvantages of Proof of Work and traditional Proof of Stake led us to think of other consensus methods. 5ireChain will be the first blockchain to have sustainability embedded in the network base layers. Validators' reputations will be based on the number of sustainable and ESG practices they follow. This allows for a voting protocol more complex than other consensus methods and removes the opportunity for centralization or cartelization while also supporting our commitment to the United Nations sustainable development goals.
